Are you looking for a new opportunity that can offer long term prospects and career growth?

We are seeking Trade Counter Assistants on behalf of our industry leading client located in the West Norwood area who will be responsible for driving the sales of products to trade and retail customers.

This will be a temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate!


£8.21 per hour (For first 12 weeks)

Permanent salary - £20,000 per annum (After first 12 weeks)

Working Hours:

Up to 45 hours per week – Shifts 7:00 - 17:00 or 8:00 - 18:00

You will be working 5 out of 7 days between Monday - Sunday

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • Loading and unloading deliveries (heavy lifting involved)

  • Stacking shelves with materials

  • Mixing paints for customers

  • Taking orders and inputting information on system

  • Use of the till to complete customers purchases

  • Advising customers on what products they should use

  • Maintaining the highest standard of store presentation and cleanliness

  • Making cold and warm sales call to prospective customers

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required
