Berry Recruitment are working with the Government to find an Application Support Analyst to work with BPDTS (Benefits Pension Digital and Technology Services), which was established in 2016 to take over the delivery of a number digital services that DWP.

Role: Senior Application Support Analyst
Contracting Authority: BPDTS
Contract Length: 5 Months
Location: Newcastle
IR35: Out of Scope
Salary: £400pd and on call rate of £53.33ph
Security Clearance: SC Clearance (must have before going on site)

Normal working hours with overtime

Experience in similar role for DWP having worked for BPDTS, DWP, DXC or other companies is essential, as well as experience in working with JAVA and Webspere!

ABOUT YOU

• As an Application Support Analyst the applications you will be supporting are critical to DWP.


• You, along with the team (of around 5), will be responsible to ensure these are kept online and running as they affect thousands of DWP users, who in turn provide services to millions of vulnerable UK citizens.

• Ideally, you would have had a role within application support and specifically VME in the past.

Your role

The Application Support Analyst supports multiple live applications, liaising with all areas of the business. These roles are specifically in VME/Legacy skillsets and knowledge is needed to hit the ground running.
