Description:


A brilliant opportunity is available for a Marketing Manager to join a well established solicitor's firm and can be based in one of 3 offices either Southampton, Fareham or Portsmouth.



This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.15 with a lunch break of 1 hour and 15 minutes and a salary between £25,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience.



The main purpose of this role is to arrange and implement all aspects of the firm's marketing and PR activity.



Key Responsibilities:


Events Co-Ordination and Management



  • Organise the planning and promotion of events held by the firm

  • Preparation of materials for presentations and seminars including name badges, delegate packs, goody bags etc

  • Source interesting and innovative merchandising for the firm's events which are within budget

  • Attend events as required


Website



  • Manage the development of the firm's website, including search engine optimisation

  • Ensure regular uploading of press releases, new pages and content

  • Manage the firm's social media platforms

  • Regular monitoring of the firm's web presence using Google Analytics

  • Producing a monthly web report


Strategic Planning of Marketing



  • Advise the partners on marketing campaigns

  • Act upon strategic decisions regarding marketing


Design



  • Organise the production of marketing materials including leaflets, posters, fliers and invitations which can involve writing, proof reading and liaising with designers and printers


Press/Radio Campaigns



  • Manage offers from commercial radio contacts with a view to radio campaigns primarily for the Injury Team

  • Co-ordinate regular press writing


Administrative



  • Act as the primary initial point of contact for all the marketing and business development activities requested by all members of the firm

  • Ensure the prompt sending of the Employment Law Newsletter

  • Liaise with all marketing coordinators across the firm

  • Deal with invoices received by the team including coding, obtaining appropriate authorisation, keeping a file copy and passing to accounts for processing

  • Daily input of client satisfaction questionnaires and production of the quarterly report


Other



  • Attend marketing meetings across the firm and provide input as appropriate

  • Contribute towards departmental marketing budgets and strategies

  • Ensure all compliance is met per company policy



Candidate Requirements:



  • Marketing degree or equivalent

  • Post qualification experience with marketing profession

  • Able to run a tight diary schedule

  • Able to work within a team environment as well as on own

  • IT literate

  • Website maintenance experience

  • Copy writing experience

  • Social media managing experience

  • Event planning, organisation and attendance

  • Good telephone manner

  • Having a portfolio to demonstrate examples of marketing is desirable

  • Line management experience is desirable
