Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Driver's Mates to join our prestigious clients logistics and distribution team in Brockworth, Gloucester.

We only have a limited amount of Vacancy's so be fast!

Working hours: 5 days a week Monday – Friday. On-going for the right candidate. Hours of work can start as early as 0400 and 0700 till finish working 8-10 hour shifts.

As a Driver's Mate your main responsibilities are:

• Customer service related duties


• Load and unload


• Assisting other crews to complete work when requested to do so


• Ensuring that you maintain a courteous and professional demeanour at all times with the public and your colleagues


• Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to maintain a safe, clean working environment and service to our customers.


• Full training


• Parking on site


• Safety measures are in place


• All Driver Mates must be prepared to do multi-drop runs, you will need to be physically fit as a lot of heavy lifting is required.


• You will assist the Drivers with delivery and carrying the goods

Please note that this is a customer facing role so good customer service skills are essential. Experience is not essential as full training will be given. A Drug and Alcohol test will be required on the first day of training.
