Berry Recruitment, are currently recruiting HGV 2 Dustcart Drivers for an on-going position starting immediately for a long term position with a view to perm for the right candidate. We are looking for Class 2 HGV Refuse Drivers to work within a team, in and around the New Forest area (Totton, Lymington, Ringwood) collecting door to door waste. A full induction will be given.
Enhanced pay rate of £12.20 per hour and long term contracts available
The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse therefore flexibility is crucial. Full training and induction will be given.
- Driving a class 2 vehicle and you will also be required to assist with the loading
- To collect paper, green waste, household waste and special collections.
- Heavy lifting / fast paced
- Customer facing
Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Class 2 driving experience is essential
- Clean Class 2 licence is preferred
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate
- Must have a digital tachograph card
Monday-Friday 06:00am start and shift is 7.5 hours per day, with overtime often available.
