As you return from your holidays are you looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for a reputable accountants who are seeking a Tax Assistant.

You will be ATT qualified and come from a Practice environment. The company is keen to invest in it's staff and will be keen to support someone who wants to work towards their CTA qualification.

Day to day responsibilities of the Tax Accountant will be:

• Request Tax Return information from the client or relevant parties


• Take ownership of and generate Tax Returns for a diverse client base


• Advise clients of their UK tax positions – including updating clients on when tax payments are due


• Assist with drafting corporation tax returns and advising clients regarding corporation tax planning matters


• Drafting P11Ds for clients

• Liaise with HMRC as appropriate


• Assist with tax investigation matters

• Assisting on advisory projects and other ad-hoc matters as required

You will be working for a growing accountants that really care about their staff and invest in their future.

You will be practical with varied personal and technical tax knowledge. Be highly numerate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent Microsoft skills are also a pre requisite for this role. If you have knowledge with CCH this would be an advantage

In return the company offer a salary that is flexible depending upon experience but generally within the range £30 - £40k realm (applicants will be considered higher if suitably qualified).
