Description:

Berry Recruitment are looking for Waste Assessors to work for a local authority in the Waste and Transport department.

The depot is in Lymington but you will be required to travel to properties across the New Forest so own transport is essential!

This is a temporary role for 1 month (possible extension to 3 months) with an hourly pay of £13.48.

Working hours Monday to Thursday 8-4 and Friday 8-3.30.

Main Duties:

• Travel to properties across the New Forest


• Conduct on site surveys to identify waste container collection points for domestic properties


• Conduct a tick box risk assessment to record access arrangements


• Consider any waste collection issues


• Keep accurate notes of each visit

Training will be provided on all of the above!

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have own transport and appropriately insured vehicle (mileage will be paid at 65p per minute)


• Experience of dealing with the public and customer service skills


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office


• Confident with alone working
