Shift Hours: 9 - 12 hour shifts (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Chargehand to join our team based in BL5 1EE. Reporting directly to the Charge Hand, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of all goods entering and leaving the warehouse. You will also be expected to support and coach warehouse staff in delivering key business values, such as exceptional customer service, cost control, and product care. This role includes supporting WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) processes and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities
• Adhere to all warehouse policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate and safe movement of stock to correct locations
• Recommend and use appropriate packaging materials to minimise waste
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse
• Load and unload WEEE, maintaining a tidy area in both wet and dry environments
• Assist in administrative and site processes as needed
• Ensure adherence to vehicle and site key control protocols

Required Skills & Experience
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Valid certification for manual handling equipment
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
• Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Basic computer literacy

• Clamp attachment training and assessment (preferred)
