Description:

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Machine Operative to work for our client based in the Cannock area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about learning new skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

This position is permanent for the right candidate.

Duties will include:-

• Assisting with the setup and operation of machinery.


• Learning to operate production equipment.


• Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues.


• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.


• Supporting the production team to meet daily targets.

Requirements:-

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Reliable and punctual.


• Good attention to detail.


• Ability to work well as part of a team.


• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.

Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm with half an hours lunch and two 15 minute breaks. Friday, 8am to 3.30pm with half an hours lunch and one 15 minute break.

£12.21 to £12.71 per hour.
