Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Temporary Kitchen Porter to cover holiday for a Medical Laboratory in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Role: Temporary Kitchen Porter (Holiday Cover)

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 16:00)

Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter:

• Preparing and traying up bulk food items


• Carrying out basic vegetable preparation


• Helping with general food preparation as required


• Checking and storing food deliveries correctly


• Following food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures


• Keeping the kitchen, equipment and service areas clean and tidy


• Checking and recording food temperatures

About you:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organised


• Good communication skills to report safety issues and work as a team


• A positive attitude and willingness to take on different tasks as needed


• Understanding of proper uniform and hygiene standards in a food service setting
