Temporary Chef Manager Cover - Cramlington

Location: Cramlington
Duration: 1st September to 18th September (inclusive)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 2:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef Manager to provide temporary cover for a busy on-site catering operation in Cramlington.

This role is focused primarily on the delivery of high-quality food service, making it ideal for a chef with strong culinary and craft skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch menus


• Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation


• Working alongside two full-time Catering Assistants


• Managing and placing food orders as required


• Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are adhered to


• Completing daily temperature checks and food safety records

Requirements:

• Previous Chef Manager or Senior Chef experience


• Strong craft cooking skills are essential


• Experience ordering stock and managing food supplies


• Food hygiene knowledge and a proactive approach to kitchen management


• Reliable and able to hit the ground running

This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an experienced chef looking for a daytime role with no evening work.
