Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team in Penryn. This is a fantastic daytime-only role with a great work–life balance.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen (including lone working)


• Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene procedures are followed


• Complete correct labelling and day‑dotting


• Follow all allergen‑control procedures


• Meet with environmental health inspectors when required


• Supervise and support the Kitchen Porter


• Adhere to lone‑working procedures when working independently

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a head chef (Ideal)


• Strong understanding of food safety, allergens, and kitchen compliance


• Previous experience of completing audits and EHO visits


• A reliable, organised chef with a positive attitude
