Job Opportunity: Temporary Receptionist – Penryn


Pay: £12.61 per hour + holiday pay – weekly paid


Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility on start/finish if needed)


Location: Penryn


Start Date: ASAP to 18th December'25


Requirement: Current, in-date DBS check on the Update Service is essential


About the Role


We’re seeking a Temporary Receptionist to join a busy office in Penryn during the run-up to Christmas. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn extra money while supporting a welcoming and professional environment.


You’ll be working alongside a supportive colleague who will show you the ropes, making this a great role for someone who is organised, friendly, and ready to get stuck in.


Key Responsibilities



  • Answering incoming phone calls and directing enquiries appropriately

  • Greeting visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

  • Responding to emails and phone enquiries from parents, carers, and external agencies

  • Maintaining accurate records and updating systems as required

  • Providing general administrative support to the school office team

  • Assisting with day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth running of reception

  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy school environment
