Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for our client whose warehouse is in Totton. Your role will be to deliver the highest standards of maintenance in the most efficient manner to maintain, adjust, setup and test Products before re-hire or installation. The primary focus of the role is the preparation of hire cooling equipment and ancillaries (pumps, heat exchangers)

This is a temp to perm role working Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30, 40 hours a week.

Main Duties:

• Preparation of equipment for the hire fleet


• Preparation of equipment to meet specific customer orders


• Cleaning, testing and repairing of returned hire equipment where required


• Highlighting any repairs needed


• Customising hire equipment for specific rental purposes


• Follow strict health & safety regulations


• This role will involve some heavy lifting

Key Competencies:

• Well-organised and efficient, with good initiative


• Pays attention to detail.


• Forklift driving an advantage although training will be given


• Effective communication skills


• Computer skills


• The post holder must be flexible in shifting their work pattern around warehouse opening times.


• Be willing to carry out any other reasonable activities as requested by the management team.

It is desirable the candidate will have some electrical background but this is not essential and full training will be given on all aspects of this role.
