Berry Recruitment are looking for a Programme Support Administrator to work for a local authority within the housing operations department based in Nursling.


This role is to start ASAP on a 3 month contract with possible extension. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.15 and Friday 07.30 to 15.15.


The hourly pay rate is £14.92.


The purpose of this role is working within the planned maintenance team to support the repairs and voids contracts and allocating work to trade staff.


Key Duties:



  • Assisting the programme managers

  • Deal with public and internal contact via telephone and email

  • Liaise with trade persons, managers and contractors

  • Allocate work to appropriate trade persons

  • Collation and management of void paperwork and job completions

  • Ordering scaffolding and asbestos removal works

  • Meeting strict timescales

  • Updating spreadsheets/databases and maintaining filing systems

  • Arrange meetings and appointments


Candidate Requirements



  • Experience working in housing maintenance, construction or planning background is preferred

  • Administration experience is essential

  • Professional telephone manner

  • Computer literate

  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
