Description:

We seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join this well respected organisation based in St Albans.
As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting financial advisers by providing technical expertise, conducting research, and preparing client recommendations. You will be aligned with specific advisers, although this may change in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. Paraplanning
• Liaise closely with advisers, including participating in regular case update meetings
• Provide technical support to advisers and colleagues, including assistance with calculations and complex queries
• Conduct research and analysis to support new business recommendations
• Prepare and draft suitability reports for adviser review and sign-off
• Build and maintain cashflow models to support client advice and meeting preparation
• Attend client meetings where required to support advisers and document outcomes Client & Case Management
• Manage client requests such as withdrawals, contributions, and policy amendments
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve queries
• Produce client-facing documentation including one-page summaries and supporting materials
• Prepare and pre-populate review documentation and forms for client meetings Administration & Compliance
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure fact-finds and compliance documentation are up to date • Use CRM workflows to track and manage new business cases and ongoing tasks
• Process and submit relevant paperwork efficiently and accurately
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
• Demonstrable paraplanning experience within a financial planning environment
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning products, investments, pensions, and protection
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri) 9am – 5:30pm
