Paint Sprayer / Warehouse Operative

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent / Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday (8am - 5pm)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hands-on Paint Sprayer / Warehouse Operative to join their team in Oxford.

This is a varied role combining industrial paint spraying, preparation and finishing with general warehouse and production duties. The successful candidate will be practical, hardworking and able to work to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing components and surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking and preparation.


• Applying industrial paint/coatings using spray-painting equipment.


• Ensuring painted components meet the required quality and finish standards.


• Checking finished products for defects and carrying out any necessary touch-ups.


• Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and the working area.


• Handling and moving materials and components safely around the warehouse.


• Loading and unloading deliveries where required.


• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.


• Maintaining accurate stock and warehouse records.


• Keeping the warehouse and production areas clean, organised and safe.


• Following company health & safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE.


• Supporting other warehouse and production activities as required.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in paint spraying, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.


• Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing a quality finish.


• Be comfortable carrying out physical warehouse duties.


• Be reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in.


• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Have a good understanding of workplace health and safety.


• Be willing to learn new processes and equipment.

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
