🕗 Shift Hours: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
💷 Pay Rate:



  • £12.21 per hour (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

  • £13.64 per hour (10:00 PM – 4:00 AM)




About the Role:


We are looking for a Night Hygiene Operative to join our food production team. This role is vital in ensuring our production areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, supporting safe and efficient operations. You’ll be working overnight to deep-clean equipment and facilities, helping maintain compliance with food safety regulations.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform thorough cleaning of food production equipment, surfaces, and workspaces.

  • Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals according to COSHH guidelines.

  • Dismantle and reassemble machinery for deep cleaning.

  • Follow strict hygiene protocols and schedules to meet BRC and other food safety standards.

  • Complete hygiene records and checklists accurately.

  • Work closely with the hygiene supervisor and production teams to ensure cleaning is completed on time.

  • Identify and report any hygiene or safety issues.




Requirements:



  • Previous experience in hygiene or cleaning within a food production environment (preferred).

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (training provided).

  • Ability to work night shifts consistently.

  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach.

  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
