Description:

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to work for our client based in the Cannock area.

This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

The position is for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative to join an established team. This role involves operating machinery and supporting the production process to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Experience of using a turret punch CNC machine would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Operating and monitoring machinery during production.


• Reading and working from technical drawings.


• Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure.


• Ensuring products meet required quality standards.


• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.


• Supporting the wider production team when required.

Requirements:-

• Previous experience in a machine operative or manufacturing role preferred.


• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.


• Experience using a tape measure and carrying out accurate measurements would be an advantage.


• Good attention to detail.


• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Shift pattern:- Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm with half an hours lunch and two 15 minute breaks. Friday, 8am to 3.30pm with half an hour break with one 15 minute break.

£12.75 to £13.75 per hour depending on experience.
