FLT Driver – Food Production (Headcorn)



Temp to Perm Opportunity | Immediate Start | £13.00 per hour



We’re recruiting FLT Driver to join growing food production site based in Headcorn.


This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for long‑term stability and a supportive team environment.



⭐ Shift Pattern
Rotating weekly:


week 1
• Monday–Friday, 7am-3pm


week 2
• Monday–Friday, 3pm-11pm



Pay Rate
• £13.00 per hour


🚚 Role Responsibilities
• Safely operate FLT and PPT equipment across the site.
• Complete pre‑start checks on all machinery and report any issues to the Shift Manager.
• Identify and help resolve non‑conforming raw material issues.
• Monitor stock rotation, ensuring short‑life or out‑of‑date stock is flagged promptly.
• Carry out pre‑start checks on Extraction machinery.
• Load fruit pallets into the tipper in line with blending requirements.
• Support the Extraction and Fruit Sorting teams to meet daily production targets.
• Assist with site improvement projects and new product development tasks.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across Warehouse, Extraction, and Sorting areas.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.


🎓 What We’re Looking For
• Valid Counterbalance / PPT / FLT licence (Reach Truck licence desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a warehouse or factory environment is beneficial.
• Understanding of food or drink manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team.


🚗 Important
Due to the rural location, own transport is essential as public transport is limited.
