Event Waiters and Waitresses

Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to deliver outstanding service at a premier event? Berry Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced banqueting waiters and waitresses to join our team for a one-day event at a prestigious venue.

Location: Fairway, Harpenden
Event Date: 25th May
Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet areas and ensure tables are arranged according to event specifications


• Work collaboratively with team members to provide seamless service


• Demonstrate silver service skills, including correct plate and cutlery handling


• Perform wine service including presentation, pouring, and basic wine knowledge


• Provide canapé service during receptions, circulating efficiently and engaging professionally with guests


• Clear tables professionally and maintain cleanliness throughout the event


• Deliver exceptional customer service with a proactive and positive attitude

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar banqueting or hospitality role (minimum 6 months)


• Confidence in team service and working under pressure during busy events


• Knowledge of silver service and canapé service techniques is preferred


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions


• Flexibility to adapt to event needs and timings
