📍 Devon
🕒 Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (40 hours per week)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a busy engineering team at a leading manufacturing site in Devon. You’ll be responsible for maintaining key production equipment, ensuring high levels of plant availability through both planned maintenance and quick response to breakdowns.
Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance
Diagnose and repair faults on 3-phase motors, control gear, lighting & low-voltage systems
Support improvement projects and installation work across the site
Maintain compliance with health & safety procedures and complete necessary documentation
Work both independently and as part of a small, multi-skilled team
Assist with cross-skilled mechanical and instrumentation tasks where needed
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering (Apprenticeship trained)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience in an industrial or production environment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Familiarity with PLCs and Variable Speed Drives (desirable)
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or mechanical systems (advantageous)
Full UK driving licence
Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
