📢 Job Opportunity: School Cleaners – WAKEFIELD LOCATIONS
Location: Wakefield
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly in arrears via Berry Recruitment)
Hours: 7:00am–11:00am or 3:00pm–7:00pm (flexible, as required)

Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency cleaners for temporary roles within schools across the Wakefield area. These positions are ideal for candidates looking to top up their hours or seeking flexible part-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hoovering and mopping floors


• Cleaning toilets, classrooms, staff rooms


• Emptying bins and general tidying


• Dusting and wiping down surfaces


• Sanitising desks, door handles, light switches, and other touchpoints

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred


• Driving licence and own transport desirable but not essential


• Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one (£59.50)


• Completion of online training: Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, and Keeping Children Safe in Education
