Description:


We are currently seeking a reliable and conscientious Part-Time Cleaner to provide temporary cover at a government building in Bude. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness within office environments and communal areas.


The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, acting as a key holder, and operating an alarm system where applicable.


Key Responsibilities


Duties will include, but are not limited to:



  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors

  • Dusting and wiping desks, workstations, and office furniture

  • Cleaning and sanitising touch points, including door handles, light switches, and handrails

  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

  • Cleaning kitchen and break areas, including worktops, sinks, cupboards, and appliances

  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing consumables

  • Sweeping and maintaining entrance areas

  • Ensuring cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly

  • Securing the premises after cleaning and ensuring alarm systems are activated where required


Requirements



  • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential

  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

  • Comfortable with lone working

  • Able to act as a key holder and operate an alarm panel where applicable

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards

Hours: 5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 08:30am (1 hours per day)
