Description:
My client are looking for a Class 2 driver to work on an on-going basis through their winter peak.
They distribute Coal and Firewood to both Residential addresses and Petrol Stations and are therefore expecting to be busy until the end of winter.
A big part of this role will be Manuel Handling, lifting bags of up to 22kg.
This role is customer facing on deliveries and you will be responsible for carrying out driving checks, looking after vehicle condition while driving and the safe and secure delivery of your load.
Due to the rural location having your own transport will be essential.
You will be delivering around London (North of the Thames), Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & Essex. Deliveries to Gardens will be handball and commercial deliveries will normally be forklift on and off.
The start time for this role is either 07:00 or 08:00, you will be paid overtime at time and a half after 8 hours.
You will need to have a full UK driving licence with a Digi-card and CPC.
