Berry recruitment is working alongside a client based in the St Ives area, Cambs.
We are seeking a Class 1 HIAB Driver where you will be required to:
Work is Monday to Friday; start time can vary depending on deliveries from 4am to 7am; average shift length is 10 -12 hours. Absolutely no weekend or Bank Holiday working is required. Festive closure for everyone is around the 22/12 to 2/1 each year.
Agency coverage for sickness and holidays HOWEVER there are definitely opportunities for the right drivers with the right skill set and attitude to obtain a full time role as a temp to perm driver.
A typical day will be either 2 runs from the origin site with 1-2 deliveries on each run, alternatively you may be routed with a multi drop route (5-6 drops is standard) with one outbound route and a backload.
Payrate is PAYE only £17.31 per hour with an opportunity of overtime at time and a third. Note that pay negotiations currently taking place so this may increase.
