Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Administrative Officer to work for a company in Wallingford



Role: Administrative Officer


Salary: £24,500


Location: Wallingford


Hours: Standard Office Hours



Key Responsibilities of the Administrative Officer:



  • Process and manage employee payroll accurately and in line with internal deadlines.

  • Maintain and update employee records, documentation, and databases.

  • Support daily administrative activities including filing, correspondence, scheduling, and data entry.

  • Assist with HR-related tasks such as on boarding documentation and absence tracking.

  • Generate reports, prepare documentation, and support the management team as required.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general office enquiries.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and manage office supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.



About you:



  • Proven experience in administration roles.

  • Demonstrable experience of processing payroll.

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and payroll software.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
