Berry Recruitment in Kent has doubled its size.

Berry Recruitment's branch in Kent has doubled its size thanks to a growing economy and many new clients, including those in the important construction sector.

The Berry branch based in Maidstone, and covering the whole county,  instructed a local firm JBH Refurbishment to expand its offices.

They knocked through into what traded as the Daily Bread Café in Pudding Lane and created capacity for more than a dozen staff as well as space for meetings, interviews and training.

Berry’s Regional Sales Director Jody Page said the growing construction sector was a great sign that the economy was doing well and that job hunters were benefiting.

The Kent branch also covers ‘industrial’, ‘driving’,‘commercial’ and ‘catering’ sectors and is soon moving into the ‘engineering’arena.

Jody, who has 18 years’ experience in Kent recruitment, said:   'They have transformed our offices, which gives us a much bigger capacity and allows us to see many more candidates at a time. And if the economy continues to improve as it has in recent months we are certainly going to need the space.”
