Every year, we look forward to pausing for a moment and giving a proper shout-out to our hard working team who truly keep Berry Recruitment running smoothly everyday.
The winners were presented with their awards at our branches across the country, celebrating together and with our Managing Director, Lee Gamble.
One of Berry’s most coveted awards, the Tony Berry Award, in honour of the business’ late chairman, is presented to Berry Recruitment Group’s ‘combined top biller’. For the second year in a row, the award was presented to Head of Rail, Mohammed Rauf, from our Kings Cross branch.
Other awards presented were Board Recognition awards, Star Performer, Newcomer, and branch awards for Achievement of Net Profit. Also included are the Long Service awards for the team members; most notably Patrick Casey, Operations Manager for our Harlow branch who has achieved 20 years of service with the group.
Lee Gamble said: “The recruitment industry has remained erratic over recent years, yet the Berry team always manages to deliver exceptional results!
When you reflect on 2024, we had to contend with both economic and political impacts, which made our traditional client base more cautious, creating a need for new clients to be continually converted in-order-to achieve our financial goals.
The list of 2024 award winners are truly impressive, and all our award winners deserve their individual recognition for their efforts during a very challenging year. We should also acknowledge, appreciate, and above all mention, there is no I in team and it is Team Berry, as a collective that despite all odds, played their part in making 2024, another great year.
Congratulations to all our 2024 award winners, well done and thank you, to all at Team Berry.”
Group Managing Director, Chris Chown, also spoke about the ups and downs of 2024, as well as the fantastic achievements of the teams across the four brands. He said: “Whilst 2024 was definitely a challenging year for recruitment businesses we still found good reason to hand out over 60 awards in recognition of our fantastic teams, managers, consultants, business support and central support services colleagues.
With 21 star performer, top temp and perm consultant awards we still had plenty to celebrate with some exceptional individual performances. This was wonderfully complemented by 10 branch team awards and shields.
We also celebrated our business support and central support colleagues for their invaluable contribution to our continued success.”
Congratulations to all our winners across Berry Recruitment. Looking ahead to the rest of 2025 and into 2026, we’re excited for what is to come across the group.
