Berry Recruitment has appointed a highly experienced new manager at its growing branch in Kent.
Jane Baran has worked in the industry across the county and London in a 20-year career. She heads a team of seven which recruits both temporary and permanent workers.
The Kent economy is producing a vast number of jobs and the struggle for many employers is finding the candidates. Berry Recruitment is based in Maidstone but covers the whole county.
Jane said: “We recruit mainly in the commercial, catering and hospitality, industrial and driving sectors.
“It is very much a candidate-led industry and we pride ourselves on our customer service and the way that we treat candidates.
“Our location in the town has good footfall and the plan is to grow the team and move into new areas.
“I have experience in the public sector and that is one of many areas we will be looking at.
“I joined Berry Recruitment because it is a family group and things get done quickly because the board are so responsive.
“We really do offer local work for local people and the company looks after its staff.”
