Berry Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Head Chef to work for our client based near Stoke-On-Trent.

The family owned country restaurant is looking for an experienced, passionate Head Chef to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef looking to take the venue to the next level and to push their own ideas with food development.

Our client is looking for those who have a real passion for food and eager to develop the establishment.

Requirements for the successful candidate are:-

• Must have at least five years experience leading a busy successful kitchen.


• Preparation and delivery of all food items according to specifications and time limits.


• Must be competent at delivering high quality food with high volumes.


• Passionate about working with fresh ingredients


• Intermediate food hygiene certificate


• Coordinating the delivery, storage and food safety standards within the kitchen.


• Managing budgets, cleaning, controlling allergens and record keeping.


• Capable of leading a team positively, manage kitchen pressures in a professional manner.

The role is 5 days a week, approximately 55 hours and will include working evenings and weekends.

£40,000 per annum, including fortnightly tips.

24 days holiday.

Due to the location of the client, the successful candidate must have their own transport.
