I am working with the Operations Manager of one of my Telecoms clients & who is urgently looking to recruit a Wayleave Officerbased in the Cambridge (Cambs)area.



Summary Overview:




  • Reporting to the Head of Wayleaves

  • My Client provides support to Operators of telecommunication cable networks in London and across the UK for Acquisition, Design and Construction (ADC) projects.

  • They are currently working on a number of projects that require the acquisition of sites by obtaining Wayleave consent to install telecoms apparatus on properties owned by private sector landlords and social housing providers.

  • This is a role where the successful candidate will be required to develop and manage relationships with housing providers from initial introductions to securing a wayleave agreement and handover to the planning and delivery team.

  • Scope for the right candidate to progress their career in a number of directions as the business continues to thrive.



Key Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:




  • An understanding of the wayleave process and working with legal documents

  • Proven success in a target-driven B2B or B2C sales role

  • Experience and ability of interacting at senior management level

  • Proven background in managing and delivering end to end results

  • Ability to research leads and think laterally and pro-actively

  • Professional and confident on the telephone and able to use persuasive language

  • Self-starter with good time management skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Have a detailed approach – the candidate will be dealing with a wayleave which is a legal document

  • Ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude

  • Excellent team worker, whilst also being self-motivated

  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office, client databases

  • Desire to advance within the Company



Pay & Benefits:




  • Basic Salary (Permanent) £25,000 - £30,000 p.a.

  • Full time

  • 09:00 – 17:30 Hours

  • 28-Days’ Holiday, including public holidays p.a.
