Our Client based in Romsey are a lead manufacturer of epoxy resins and adhesives for the marine and construction industry.


Job Role


To provide a proactive service within the filling area to meet the needs of our customers, ensuring quality and service levels are met within the required timescales. The job involves dealing and handling Adhesives and fillers on an everyday basis the objective is to fill containers with a various range of Adhesives and fillers, cleanliness and accuracy are an essential part of this job.


Key Responsibilities



  • Process orders for filling, providing accurate documentation in accordance with the company’s procedures.

  • Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with Supervisors and Managers for planning and for any other discrepancies or quality issues.

  • To distribute and store in-bound materials.

  • Process, fill and label containers in an accurate and timely manner to achieve on time delivery targets.

  • Maintain stock to agreed levels and ensure accuracy through regular counts.

  • Investigate stock discrepancies and provide feedback and actions to improve service.

  • Undertake all tasks as required in accordance with Wessex Resins working practices and quality procedure.

  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas.

  • Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times especially due to the fact that you will be dealing with chemicals.

  • Carry out any other reasonable duty as requested by the Managers and Supervisors.



Required Qualifications and Skills



  • GCSE’s or equivalent

  • Experience of working in a warehouse environment



  • Forklift Truck Licence (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Basic IT skills with MS Excel, Word and Outlook

  • On the job training will be given.

  • Self-Organisation

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum of supervision.

  • Flexible to work in different departments day to day
