We are seeking Trade Counter Assistants on behalf of our rapidly expanding client in the West Norwood area who will be responsible for driving the sales of products to trade and retail customers.

This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute during this exciting stage of the company’s development and partake in the growth journey of a dynamic organisation.

This will be a temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate!


Starting pay rate - £7.83 per hour on a temporary basis (For the first 12 weeks)

*Permanent salary - £20,000 per annum*

Working Hours:

Up to 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 7:00 to 17:00 (Including some weekend work)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • Loading and unloading deliveries (heavy lifting involved)

  • Stacking shelves with materials

  • Mixing paints for customers

  • Taking orders and inputting information on system

  • Use of the till to complete customers purchases

  • Advising customers on what products they should use

  • Maintaining the highest standard of store presentation and cleanliness

  • Making cold and warm sales call to prospective customers

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required
