Berry recruitment are pleased to be assisting a local company with their search for a temporary assistant within their Services team.

Rate: £13.33 per hour

Hours: 09.00am – 17:30pm

Term: 6 month contract – Possibility of permanent thereafter

Description of Duties:

  • To provide dedicated support to the Services team

  • To assist in the smooth day to day running of the office

  • To assist with the reception/telephone duties

  • Take calls from clients, advisers & associates

  • To assist with clients, advisers & associates accessing the Investor Centre and their investment information

  • Take calls and answer in line with prepared FAQs

  • To maintain all relevant records, as agreed with your line manager, to enable compliance with our regulatory requirements and obligations to clients

  • Support activities for the smooth running of the Investors Committee

  • Support events as required

  • To be aware at all times of the need to identify both operational and investment management risks

  • To be aware at all times of the need to identify conflicts of interest

  • To share promptly perceived risks or conflicts with appropriate colleagues and to contribute ideas for their management and disclosure

  • General office administration

Technical Skills & Competence required for role:

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Strong communication skills and objection handling skills.

  • Good IT skills including competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Attention to detail


  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Basic knowledge of financial services
