Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Systems Developer to work for a Market leading organisation in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.


Role: Systems Developer


Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 per annum


Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire


Hours: Full time – Onsite – Immediate Start


Key Responsibilities of the Systems Developer:



  • Support data integrity processes and manage backups under supervision.

  • Consolidate data from multiple sources to support comprehensive business insights.

  • Support the integration of Sage 200 and other business systems.

  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to enhance process automation.

  • Provide technical support to end-users, escalating issues where necessary.

  • Collaborate in developing best practices for system maintenance and development.

  • Identify areas for efficiency improvements and propose solutions.


About you:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience (graduates or juniors welcome).

  • At least 1-2 years of experience or relevant internships in systems development or database management.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server, including basic query development and troubleshooting.

  • Exposure to business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).

  • Basic understanding of ERP systems like Sage 200 is a plus.

  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
