Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to work for a busy and popular hospitality establishment based in Thetford.

Your role as a Sous Chef will involve ensuring that food is served quickly and to the highest standard, Health & Safety and Food Safety is adhered to, measurements/portions are accurate and recipes are followed correctly, all equipment is used correctly and the job lists provided are completed.

You will support the team by undertaking any reasonable tasks requested by the Head Chef and supervising the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and Chef experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and have experience in working in a pressured environment.

This is a permanent role.

Hours are full time at 42 hours a week with alternate weekends.

Salary is between £30,000-£34,000 per annum.
