Berry Recruitment are looking for a Sous Chef for our client who is a well know venue near Towcester.
The Role - Sous Chef
You will be responsible for delivering a high level of consistent service and food offering across a range of operations for the hospitality & retail catering departments including large scale public events, conferences, cafes, restaurants and internal catering.
Good all round operational skills to lead a large diverse operation
Continually monitor, develop, renew and evolve the service culture and standard
Lead the department from the front and have a hands on approach
Assist the Executive Chef and Senior Sous in planning and execution for all hospitality & retail operations
Adhere to food safety and health & Safety policies and processes
Assist with menus content, costing and development.
Multi-site or experience of managing different styles of operations from high volume catering through to private dining restaurants
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail
Full clean driving license
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
Strong Understanding of HACCP & COSHH
Flexible approach to work including some evenings and weekends
Demonstrate clear leadership and industry knowledge
Up to £35,000 working 40 hours per week,
