Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Senior Finance Administrator for a role based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.


Role: Senior Finance Administrator


Salary: £32,000 - £35,000


Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire


Hours: Mon – Fri, 37.5hrs per week (Flexible working hours, between


Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Administrator:



  • Checking monthly payments schedule

  • Preparing month end checks and meeting deadlines to ensure information for management accounts relating to purchases are produced on time

  • Purchase Ledger and payment allocation management.

  • Provide Project Accounting/Finance administration support to staff as required.

  • Reporting and consolidating information for monthly Ecology report

  • Raising PO’s, Entering and interrogating purchase invoices and delivery notes for accuracy

  • Control of Goods received not invoiced accruals.

  • Stock Control



About you:



  • Ability to produce financial data to a high level of accuracy to assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

  • Highly computer literate, preferably with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Experience of Sales & Purchase processes.

  • Computer literate in Sage and Oracle or other accounting software will be an advantage.
