An exciting opportunity has arose for a Permanent Quality Technician with a market leading client based in Newton Aycliffe.

Quality Control:
• Monitoring quality and traceability of raw material stock
• Monitoring defects and scrap rates within production
• Performing 100% quality inspection of all bought out components (External)
• Review of all material certificates for bought out components
• Ability to follow quality standards and review components in accordance with said
quality standard
• Responsible for sign off from assembled cable protection sections
• Perform DFT checks and visual inspection of coated systems
• Perform off site inspections in line with approved Inspection and test plan
• Maintaining inspection records uploading to relevant project folders which later form a
Master document book
• Drive quality improvement initiatives set by the Quality Manager
• Demonstrates confidence to play leadership role and stop operations for any issues of

• Materials testing and collation of required data
• Analysis report of failed components
• Conduct in-process quality audits
• Check assembly build records against SOP
• Quality management system document audit/review
• Carry out any reasonable duties at the request of the Quality Supervisor

• Team player
• Ability to work to demanding targets and deadlines
• Flexible in terms of working hours
• Computer literate
• Confident and challenging personality
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge and confidence in rigging and lifting methods

• 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector or equivalent
• NACE level 1 or equivalent
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal auditor
• Working knowledge of API 17L
