Berry Recruitment are looking for an Pump Engineer to join one of the UK's leading Submersible Pump specialist who have been trading since 1977.

The role will involve attending sites, undertaking servicing, commissioning, installation and repair of sewage and waste water pumping systems, assemble package pumping systems, pre assemble equipment for site installations and undertake pump inspections and repairs. You will be reporting into the Service and Contracts Manager.

Location: Mobile position with no boundaries or specific territories and workshop based at the companies head office in the Erith area.

Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 (DOE)

Key requirements & attributes:

- Previous background in submersible Pumps

- Confined Space training

- CSCS Card preferable

- Hold a UK Full driving license

- Self Motivated

- Ability to work individually and part of a team

- Multi tasker to achieve completion of projects, targets on time and to budget

- You will need to be highly organised with clear communication skills

- IT Literate using tablets and mobiles

The responsibilities and duties of the role are that you:
Must be multi-skilled and capable of undertaking electrical (not power supply) and mechanical installations,
servicing, and repairs to a high standard.
Must be able to work on your own initiative and work safely at all times, to ensure the safety of yourself, staff,
customers, and the general public.
Service & commission pumping systems according to the programme requirements of the relevant
service/commissioning schedule.
Install new mechanical and electrical equipment (not power supply).
Undertake breakdown calls, rectify faults if possible and prepare accurate and informative reports detailing
further remedial requirements.
Undertake inspections of pumps returned to our works and produce accurate and detailed reports.
Actively recommend repairs and remedial works providing detailed reports for the use of the Sales
Department/Service and Contracts Manager.
Assemble packaged pumping systems to specification.
