An exciting new opportunity has just become available for an Operations Office Administrator working for one of the UK’s leading independent providers of international freight and transport logistics services. You will be based at their Nursling depot on a full time permanent contract, Tuesday to Friday 8.00–5.30 and Saturday 7.00 – 13.00.

To work within a busy office environment completing variable functions as instructed by the Office Controller utilising computer systems.

Some of the main duties and responsibilities of the Sale Administrator are:

  • Perform all duties efficiently and safely as instructed by Operations Controller

  • Re Locating of goods within the warehouse management system (LocateIT)

  • Usage of Excel spreadsheets

  • Liaising with all warehouse staff / supervisor with work instructions

  • Occasional warehouse duties as and when needed

  • Documentation scanning for customer required paperwork

  • Booking of trailer/container collections onto work schedule and Traffic Management System

  • Daily communication with Meachers Traffic

  • Processing ships landings accurately as instructed

  • Closing off weekend shipments and manifests

  • Complete all work related paperwork accurately as per working procedure

Job requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Excel & Word )

  • Computer literate

  • Use of email

  • Attention to Detail

  • Able to work unsupervised
