Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Office/Accounts Manager for our prestigious client based in Stafford, Staffordshire.


This is a permanent role.


Role:


The Company requires an Office/Accounts Manager to manage the day to day running of all aspects of the business. The role is mainly office based and principally centres around the efficient and effective interface between the diverse client base and company engineers. The office duties are hands-on with direct responsibility in servicing and satisfying customers, whilst extending to the organisation, motivation and professional development of the engineers. Additionally the role will include sales management and purchasing with oversight of the accounting function and the financial well-being of the company.


Duties:




  • A successful track record in managing people

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Work well under pressure and a team player

  • Experience in using computer systems – ideally finance and/or scheduling tools

  • Excellent customer service experience, and ability to build and maintain long term relationships, identify and build new business.

  • Structured and organised in approach, to establish processes, holding high standards with a willingness to learn

  • A “hands on” approach

  • Flexible, in terms of work and time

  • Action oriented, aware and proactive


Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm although a flexible approach to working hours is essential and the successful candidate will be require to deal with out of hours calls including over a weekend.
