Berry Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity available for a Mini Bus Driver to work for our client who are a leading transportation service in the Merton area.

The purpose of this role is to provide an excellent service to customers and to the community transporting service users between schools, colleges, day centres and residential homes, assisting and encouraging passengers to regain and maintain their mobility and independence.

Many users may have special needs so you will need to have a calm and caring approach with the ability to assist passengers on and off vehicles and to their destination with the help of a Passenger Assistant.

You will also be required to communicate with parents/guardians, staff and passengers of the service in a tactful and professional manner whilst maintaining user confidentiality and understanding all health and safety aspects relating to vehicle checks and passenger safety.

Pay Rate:
£10.83 per hour

Working Hours:

Split shifts, Monday to Friday – From 7am (Finish times may vary)

20 hours+ per week available

Weekend work may also be available.

Applicants that already obtain a DBS are desirable however if successful we can complete a DBS for you at an additional cost.

Applicants are to hold a DVLA D OR D1 licence, have no more than 6 points on the licence with no DD, DR or CD, a digital Tacho card and have completed all of the drivers CPC.
