Berry recruitment has a some exciting opportunities for an industrial cleaners, for Monday to Friday shifts. For the right candidate a full time position may become available.
Cleaning Operatives will be expected to be able to work in a manual handling environment yielding in particular large brush and dustpans and industrial hoovers (where pipes are 6 inches diameter) This is an incredibly dusty environment at all times so please bear this in mind when applying for the roles.
There will be a lot of climbing flights of stairs that are like ladders and are very steep
Working in a production area which is generally of a warm nature. Safety boots and hi vis is needed to be worn throughout the shift.
Hygiene Operative roles - Monday to Friday 8 hours a day to be worked start time may flex around the candidate from 6 and 8 am as long as the 8 hours are worked. Pay rate is £12 per hour. Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked a week. Additional hours are available if candidates are interested.
Progression within the company is always offered, i.e. being moved into a potential for production operatives for the right applicants and 4 on 4 off shifts may then be on offer. This would be after a succesfu; period of employment.
Manual Handling skills will be required, alongside verbal and written communication skills that are essential in the production side of the business for health and safety reasons.
