Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1/2 Driver who will also take on warehouse duties as required. This is a dynamic role that involves both driving and hands-on warehouse work, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for transporting goods to various locations but will also assist with warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading, stock management, and general housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving:
• Operate Class 1/2 vehicles in a safe and professional manner to deliver goods to customers and sites.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, with accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Adhere to road safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Warehouse Duties (when required):
• Assist with the receiving, sorting, and storing of goods in the warehouse.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely.
• Help with stocktaking and inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Support the warehouse team with general duties as needed, including picking and packing.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driving license.
• Experience in a driving role, with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and stock management.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and flexible attitude with a willingness to assist in warehouse operations when required.
Working Hours:
• Full-time, with occasional flexibility required based on business needs.
