Berry Recruitment Southampton are working with a local Townhouse Restaurant based in Alresford, Winchester.


We are looking for a Front Of House Manager who has experience working in a medium sized, fast paced environment and who can offer top class customer service.


Role: FOH Manager


Type: Permanent


Hours: 45-50 per week


Pattern: Wednesday - Sunday. (Sunday evening off, Monday and Tuesday Off)


Your responsibilities will be to contribute to the turnover and profitability of the business, by the service of Food & Drink, the running of bespoke events, and managing a team of like minded individuals. You will be responsible for managing the restaurant and bar; hosting customers, ensuring the highest standards are maintained and holding bespoke events.


Role Responsibilities:



  • Manage and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.

  • Host customers ensuring high and consistent customer service and standards across the pub.

  • Liaise and effectively communicate with the Head Chef.

  • Train staff.

  • Produce stock reports.

  • Analyses pub figures and stock reports.

  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.

  • Ensure health and safety regulations are compliant.

  • Creating rotas for yourself and the team.

Requirements:


· Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisory role.


· Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality.


· Experience in a Front of House Manager role or in a similar role would be ideal.


· Experience using a POS System would be helpful.


· Flexible with demands of the role.
