Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Financial Reporting and Controls Manager to work for an association in Oxford.

Role: Financial Reporting and Controls Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum

Location: Oxford

Hours: Full Time – Including Evenings and Weekends

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting and Controls Manager:

• Invoicing all our corporate clients are invoiced.


• Maintaining the sales ledger ensuring all cash is collected promptly.


• Invoicing for player loans and any transfer receipts due whilst maintaining a log of upcoming invoicing etc.


• Ensuring all invoicing is input into our accounts system – currently Xero.


• Collating expenses for the payroll


• Maintenance of Fixed Asset register


• VAT returns


• Production, analysis, and presentation of monthly management report & account


• Annual report and accounts


• Ad hoc tasks as required.


• Reporting financial and non-financial information to various stakeholders including the Senior Management Team


• Maintaining and improving financial controls, enhancing system controls


• Processing transactions across all aspects of the finances

About you:

• Full working knowledge of MS Office programs with great excels skills.


• Ability to use Sage or similar accounts package.


• Able to work using own initiative.


• Able to communicate with colleagues, corporate customers and suppliers.


• The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.


• A polite and professional manner


• Suitable accounting qualification desirable although QBE will be considered if a candidate has sufficient experience.
