Description:
Berry recruitment is seeking 5- 6 general operatives in a busy food manufacturing environment. One of the individuals must be able to drive and have a licence with no more than 6 points. Within the role the successful candidate will help other staff to get to and from work with the works van. This is a temp to perm position being offered for the right candidate.
Lifts available to work from Wisbech Horsefair.
Initially the roles are being offered out as Production Assistant positions however there is an opportunity to progress your career to the next level when the earning potential increases.
This is a food production environment and thus the importance of cleanliness and manual handling - will be requiring lifting up to 20Kg catering tubs regularly into hoppers throughout the day etc.
For the van driver who will also work in production all day -Must hold a driving licence with no more than 6 points on the licence and able to start a pick up in Wisbech. Insurance on the company vehicle states that the van/minibus can only start and finish in Wisbech therefore the successful candidate MUST live in Wisbech.
Monday to Saturday working day shifts. Start times 08:00am ususal start times. Standard Finish time is 17:00 each working day. Occasional Sundays also working. The successful candidates will need to work Monday to Friday, optional Saturday and Sunday. This will be based on workload and availability.
Rates of pay - first 3 months £11.50 per hour, £12 for next 6 month and £12.50 thereafter.
