Hourly Rate: Up to £17 per hour (depending on experience)


Role Overview:


Your responsibilities will be two-fold:



  1. Parcel Sorter: From 3:30am until 7:30am, you will be sorting parcels efficiently to ensure timely delivery.

  2. Driver Coordinator: From 7:30am until 12:00pm, you will transition into the role of Driver Coordinator, managing and scheduling drivers to maintain smooth operations.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Efficiently sort parcels during early morning hours.

  • Coordinate and schedule drivers to ensure optimal delivery routes.

  • Supervise and support staff as needed, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.

  • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as part of the sorting process.

  • Utilise IT skills to assist with scheduling and other administrative tasks.


Requirements:



  • Physical Fitness: Ability to handle heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.

  • Work Schedule: Availability to work 5 days per week, with early morning starts.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics.

  • IT Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems for scheduling and administrative purposes.
